Simulation Capabilities

The HSDG group is based in the Atkinson Hall as part of Cal-IT2. Graduate students occupy offices on the 4th floor with 2 students per office. The group maintains a rack of simulation servers for numerically intensive device, EM and circuit simulations. HSDG has licenses available for all industry standard high frequency simulation tools. Some of these packages include the following titles.

Group members hence have access to an abundance of circuit simulation, mathematical and modeling tools which enable the group to continually push the boundaries on circuit and device performance.
